Temperature
Temperatures varied in the region. The highest temperatures were 6°F to 9°F above normal in southwest Wyoming and scattered parts across central and northwestern Colorado. The lowest temperatures were 9°F to 12°F below normal in southwest North Dakota.
Temperatures in northwest Colorado, western Wyoming, and southcentral South Dakota reached 6°F to 9°F above normal. The hottest temperature was 53°F in Trinidad, Colorado, which is 1°F above normal for the area. The lowest temperatures were 12°F to 15°F below normal in northcentral South Dakota and northwestern North Dakota.
Temperatures in southwestern North Dakota, a small area in southwestern South Dakota, a small area in the Nebraskan panhandle, and eastern Wyoming reached 9°F to 12°F below normal. The coldest temperature was 4°F iat Darwin Ranch near Bacon Ridge, Wyoming, which is 4°F above normal for the area. The highest temperatures were 9°F to 12°F above normal in southcentral Wyoming and southwestern Wyoming.

Precipitation
Precipitation amounts varied in the region, ranging from 2 percent of normal in southern and western Colorado, scattered areas across Wyoming, western and the panhandle of Nebraska, northwestern Kansas, and eastern North Dakota to 800 percent of normal in eastern Colorado, northern South Dakota, and central and western North Dakota. Glen Elder, Kansas received 3.04 inches of precipitation; most of it fell on the 24th. Drought continues in the region. D0 (abnormally dry) conditions remained the same as the previous week. In the region, Nebraska experienced the highest increase in D0 conditions by 11 percent while Colorado experienced the highest decrease by 11 percent.
