Temperatures were above normal in the whole region. The highest temperatures were 12°F to 15°F above normal in southcentral Kansas, a small area in northcentral Nebraska, in eastern and western Wyoming, and across central North Dakota. The lowest temperatures were 0°F to 3°F above normal in a small area in southeastern Colorado.

The hottest temperature was 66°F in Wichita, Kansas, which is 11°F above normal for the area. The lowest temperatures were 0°F to 3°F below normal in a small area in central South Dakota and southeastern Colorado.
Temperatures were 5°F to 10°F above normal across most Kansas, central and eastern Nebraska, central and eastern Colorado, northern and southern Wyoming, across most South Dakota, and parts of eastern, central, and western North Dakota. The coldest temperature was 21°F in Alamosa, Colorado, which is 11°F above normal for the area. The highest temperatures were 20°F to 25°F above normal in western Wyoming.

Precipitation
Precipitation amounts varied in the region, ranging from 2 percent of normal in eastern Wyoming, across central and northern Nebraska, western and southcentral South Dakota, and central and southeastern North Dakota to 800 percent of normal in southwestern Wyoming, eastern Colorado, western and northcentral Kansas, and a small area in central South Dakota. Rock Springs, Wyoming received 4.02 inches of precipitation; most of it fell on the 17th. Drought continues in the region. D0 (abnormally dry) conditions increased from 41 percent to 44 percent. In the region, Nebraska experienced the highest increase in D0 conditions by 12 percent.
